**Polite Notice**
Dear Patients, We have undergone some changes with our phone lines to help provide a better service. The service's contact number is 01727 823111. Please follow the instructions as appropriate. Please do not call the GP practice when trying to contact us
Thank you.
What happens after referral by my GP?
Your referral will be looked at by the Community Gynaecology Triage Team very quickly and there are three possible outcomes:
- Further advice will be given to your GP with ideas of different treatments or investigations that could be tried.
- An appointment will be offered in the Community Gynaecology Clinic to see one of the Gynaecologists.
- An onward referral will be made to an Acute Hospital Clinic if appropriate and you will be contacted about this.
We will contact you to advise you the next step. If this is an appointment in the Community service, we will send you an appointment by letter.
