Breast Pain

We work with the Royal Free London Hospital’s breast team as part of a seamless pathway for breast pain. Consultant Breast and General Surgeon Mr Victor Jaffe established the Chase Breast Unit in 1996, and now operates across Chase Farm Hospital, Barnet and the Royal Free NHS hospitals. Other Consultants Breast Surgeons include Mrs Fawzia Imtiaz-Crosbie and Mr Muhamad Al-Dubaisi.

Breast Screening

The NHS operates a national Breast Screening Programme, which invites anyone registered with a GP as female for NHS breast screening every 3 years between the ages of 50 and 71.

North London Breast Screening Service (NLBSS) provides screening for an eligible population of over 275,000 women who live in Barnet, Brent, Enfield, Haringey, Harrow and West Hertfordshire.

It has static breast screening clinics at Edgware Community Hospital (Deansbrook House), Chase Farm Hospital, Finchley Memorial Hospital, and Forest Primary Care Centre. Deansbrook House at Edgware Community Hospital sees patients who require further screening or assessment.
